A cavernous industrial loft on Queen West with a Reese’s Pieces palette begged to be made over by its young new owner.
Shades of grey and stainless steel worked better than the dated chocolate to complement the warm oak floors, posts and beams, and the exposed ducts and pipes all got a lick of charcoal. Custom wall shelves, dining table and lighting by Commute mixed with midcentury Knoll and Herman Miller classics rounded out the look.
The unit sold for a sweet profit.
